2012 Malibu Gains Turbo Option

There are midsize sedans and then there is the Chevy Malibu - featured on Consumer Digests' "Best Buy" list for three years and running and recipient of over 40 other awards and accolades. It goes without saying it stands apart from the crowd. And for the 2013 model year, it will climb to an even higher plateau with an all-new turbocharged option.

Rounding out the 2012 Chevy Malibu lineup (including the base level model and all-new Eco hybrid) perfectly, the new Chevy Malibu turbo is expected to share the same fierce engine featured in the new ATS from sister company, Cadillac. That would put power output somewhere around the 270 hp mark. To put this into perspective the new 2012 Malibu currently available at Ray Price Chevrolet delivers 169 hp.

Of course, if you don't get your kicks from power, but rather saving money, you can always opt for the Chevy Malibu Eco model instead. It promises better fuel efficiency than even the Camry Hybrid. And, no-frills, no-nonsense drivers will still have the base-level Chevy Malibu.

All new 2013 Chevy Malibu sedans will be available from [Dealer], starting in 2012. At this point, we expect to see the Chevy Malibu Eco hit first, followed closely by the turbocharged Chevy Malibu and finally the base level. If you're interested in learning more about the fun and value Malibu can bring to your life, please be sure to stay tuned. Ray Price Chevrolet, located in Mt. Pocono, PA promises complete specs following its global debut in Shanghai, this April.
