With drastically increasing fuel prices giving consumers gas pump anxiety, the demand for increased fuel efficiency is stronger than ever. For many manufacturers, the answer to the call comes in the form of hybrids and electrics. While Chevy certainly has its fair share of EV mobility (i.e. the Chevrolet Volt), the auto manufacturer also understands that some customers just aren't ready to make the switch to hybrid life.

Underscored by the release of the Volt plug-in hybrid, Chevrolet has been keeping busy generating interest in EV technology.  Their dialogue around the zero-emissions system has been running since the beginning of the year. It's beenVolt wins this award. Volt breaks that record. That's all good and well. But, some enthusiasts are understandably starting to get tired of hearing the EV's name.  Chevy gets it.
