The Chevy Silverado 1500 has aged beautifully. The first Silverado debuted as its own model in 1999. So, while the truck is over 20 years old, you wouldn't know it from seeing the 2022 version. With loads of modern technology and impressive capability, the latest version of the truck is a showstopper. At Ray Price Chevrolet, we want to keep you informed on all things automotive. Our 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 review is a first look at this acclaimed model.*
By reaching out to our staff, you can also test drive this truck near Mount Pocono, Tobyhanna, Scranton, Stroudsburg, and East Stroudsburg, PA.
2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 Interior: Where Style and Functionality Meet
The interior quality and styling will be the first thing that catches your attention when settling into the cabin of the 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. A mixture of soft-touch materials feel great and look even better. Then you have all the technology.
First, there's an available 13.4-inch infotainment touch-screen that houses all primary functions in the truck. It can be used for navigation, music, smartphone connectivity, and more.
Additionally, there's the standard 12.3-inch diagonal driver information center located behind the steering wheel. This cluster can be configured to your liking. If you want to see how much fuel you have left, you can have that placed on the screen. If you want a minimalistic design that just shows your speed, you can arrange for that, too.
Other unique features that are making their debut for the 2022 model year include an electronic transmission range selector and, in certain trims, real wood trim and leather seating surfaces.
2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 Off-Roading: The Greatest ZR2 Yet
The Chevy Silverado ZR2 has typically been the trim of choice for those who want to spend weekends deep in the untamed wilderness. For 2022, Chevrolet has continued to improve this go-anywhere trim level, providing even greater confidence when you hit a dirt trail.
The high-approach front bumper is a striking exterior detail that looks good and also improves approach angle. Electronic locking differentials are included in the front and rear of the truck, improving traction on nearly any surface.
The ultimate addition for comfort and stability while off-roading are the Multimatic DSSV™ dampers.
The 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500: A Modern Wonder
There is no shortage of Chevrolet Silverado 1500 trim levels to choose from for 2022. It seems likely the truck will come in nine variations, which isn't including the various packages and accessories you can opt for during the car-shopping process.
So, research is going to be important when determining which version of the truck is right for your trips through Scranton, Stroudsburg, East Stroudsburg, Tobyhanna, and Mount Pocono, Pennsylvania. We'll have more updates coming on the Chevrolet Silverado 1500. When the truck appears in our lot, we'll be more than happy to arrange a test drive.
