If you've owned a truck before or have looked into any other Chevrolet models, you'll know that trim levels play a big role in each vehicle. Why? Well, trims allow drivers to choose the truck with the features and power they want. From different engines and standard technology to cabin amenities, each trim has its own unique collection of features.
With the Chevrolet Silverado 1500, you'll have a bevy of trims to choose from. It all starts with the Silverado WT, also known as the Silverado Work Truck. The Silverado WT is a no-nonsense truck that can be equipped with the standard 4.3L engine. However, you can upgrade to the available 5.3L V8 or the 2.7L Turbo if you'd prefer.
Next up is the Custom trim, which brandishes LED taillamps, black recovery hooks, and 20-inch wheels for a commanding presence on the road.
Moving up the list, we find the Custom Trail Boss. With this upgraded trim, you'll have advanced off-roading equipment, such as the 2-speed Autotrac Transfer Case, automatic locking rear differential, and Hill Descent Control.
The LT and the RST trims help you stand out from the crowd with a bold design. Turn heads on the nearby streets with body-color door handles, LED reflector headlamps, and available 22-inch Bright Chrome wheels.
The final three trim levels are:
- LT Trail Boss
- LTZ
- High Country
Beyond the trims, there are special edition models, which are the LT Trail Boss Midnight Edition, the Custom Rally Edition, and the RST Rally Edition.
