Chevy Colorado Trim Levels

The Chevy Colorado trim levels come in five available options, the Base, WT, LT, Z71, and ZR2. In this review, we'll look at all five trim levels and show you what each one has to offer.
For example, the Base trim of the Chevy Colorado comes with a standard 6-speed manual transmission, while the WT, LT, and Z71 come with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The ZR2 upgrades even further to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The Base trim and WT also have a 7-inch touchscreen display with their Chevrolet MyLink® infotainment system, while the other trims have an 8-inch screen.

Chevy Colorado Towing Capacity

Our Chevy Colorado towing capacity review will look at how much this truck can tow and which configurations will help you reach that maximum capacity. The available 3.6L V6, engine, for example, generates 308 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque. This mighty engine is the one to pick if you want to max out your towing capacity.
We'll also look at towing-assist features, like available Active Tow, which helps to guide your truck when in reverse, so you can easily align your hitch and trailer. This truck also makes Tow/Haul mode available on the WT trim and above. This drive mode lets you prep your transmission for pulling heavy weights. It can prevent the transmission from "hunting" for gears by adjusting the shift schedule to accommodate a trailer.
